Congratulation! Dr. Wu from Doright Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base topped the list and received first class project funding 2022-11-11

        Recently, Dr. Wu from Doright Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base topped the list of the Qingdao Postdoctoral Project Funding organized by the Qingdao Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.

        Dr. Wu is the first doctor introduced after the establishment of the Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base. His research topic at the practice base is Research on Key Technologies of Large Scale Flow Channel SCO2 High Temperature and High Pressure Enhanced Heat Transfer and High Efficiency Heat Exchanger, which is a key basic research project under Doright’s Clean Combustion and Supercritical carbon dioxide Laboratory.

      The research and development project of Doright’s Supercritical carbon dioxide laboratory aims to provide high temperature, high pressure and efficient heat exchanger technology and equipment for the solar and nuclear oriented Brayton cycle power generation system with Supercritical carbon dioxide as the working medium. Supercritical carbon dioxide Brayton cycle power generation can improve the power generation efficiency to more than 50%, which is currently one of the research hotspots in Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation countries in the world. The Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xi’an Jiao tong University Institute of Thermal Engineering, etc. are carrying out corresponding work. The heat exchanger technology and equipment being developed by the company's laboratory is an important part of achieving high efficiency. 

      Dr. Wu received the project funding with a score of first prize. On the one hand, his personal abilities and project content have been highly recognized by the reviewing experts. On the other hand, Doright’s project belongs to the Utilization technology in Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), which has special significance in contributing to addressing global climate change and achieving the goal of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality".
