In Doright's workshop in the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area, the Fully-automatic welding robot is welding the pipe plate of heat exchanger equipment.

The welding robot will fully automatic weld the heat exchanger tube and tube plate of carbon steel, heat-resistant steel, stainless steel, duplex steel, nickel-based alloy, titanium alloy, zirconium alloy materials. The heat exchanger tube diameter could be from Φ10 to Φ108 mm, and the whole process of welding is automated by adopting computerized control, visual system positioning, arc-pressure tracking welding, and data acquisition system.

Welding robot is the application of industrial robot technology in the field of welding, which greatly improves production efficiency, reduces production costs, and improves product quality and consistency through high-precision welding technology and efficient workflow. In traditional welding work, the quality of manual welding is uneven, and workers need to endure long hours and high intensity physical labor. The robot, however, works exactly according to the programming, and the weld seam is not even remotely different, realizing a stable and efficient welding operation. Through the introduction of robots, the core components of heat exchanger equipment welding quality has been significantly improved to ensure that product quality is steadily improved.
